Thanks Daphne, for your story that I post underneath my comments.
But if I read it twice I cannot see anything that resembles animal telepathy.
What Rupert Sheldrake discovered was telepathic communication between a human in one building and her/his dog in a totally different building. When the humans started thinking about walking, the majority of the dogs showed all the behaviour of a keen dog expecting to go for a walk WITHOUT HAVING SEEN, HEARD OR SMELLED the human.
According to me, you peak in your testimonial about your ability to read the body language and the feelings of your dog, when you were very close to each other.
Nevertheless it is a nice story.
Thank you very much for sending it.

WHAT DAPHNE WROTE
Dear Bruno,
Regarding animal telepathy, yes I have experienced this kind of thing over the years with dogs. I firmly believe that a lot of the time they do recognise your thoughts and act accordingly. I find that the slightest difference in a routine and the dog is aware of it, even though you try to be ´normal´. (not possible, they pick everything up at once).
Sadly, I have found that when your dog is very ill or very tired because of illness they will tell you when they have had enough. I remember, Holly, my last dog who lived to be over 17 (a Labrador) but in the end couldn´t walk but she was happy and eating and interested in everything that was going on around her, until one night. I was sleeping with her and all night she just stared at me with her big eyes, with her paw on my hand and I knew she was telling me..´Mum, I am tired and want to be at peace´´
I knew with such a conviction and I also knew I had to do the right thing by her the next day.I am sure she knew how I felt because at the last minute at the vets she looked up and licked my face as if to say ´thank you mum´´ We were as one without any words.
Not quite what you wanted to hear Bruno I know. There have been other moments during my life and the life of my dogs where they knew how I was feeling and yes, what I was thinking, so believe entirely that dogs are telepathic.
Love.
Daph x
