What a wonderful thing to read!! Thank you!
I started reading a book by Jenny Shone - a South African lady who communicates with animals using telepathy. I came home and tried it on my dog.
She (Tex) usually runs away with the ball, but this time I asked her calmly, in my mind, to bring the ball and just let it drop. And she did.
I was so taken aback that I of all people had accomplished that with thought alone. It's such a struggle for most people to quieten their minds and focus on thought and intention, as opposed to acting out and showing. We don't seem to realise that it's only a challenge to make it a habit - thinking is much easier than doing! And in the mind, all things are possible - so how much more can we achieve with our beloved creature friends using what is most natural??
I've recently acquired three Deepak Chopra books (Peace is the way, The way of the Wizard, and Getting to know God). I would LOVE to read Life after Death too!
Thank you for your always inspiring emails.
Mandy
ps: I'd just like to share with you that I have taken the path of being vegetarian. I have wanted to for a while but lacked the dedication and motivation (I love meat). I watched the film "Earthlings" and cried almost all the way through. I shared it with a friend and we both decided to stop eating meat that very evening. I still drink milk and eat honey, but those are the only things I'll consume - no fish, eggs or other animal proteins. It has happened so quickly but I am already finding meat distasteful to look at. I still enjoy the smell, but I soon realise it's more the sauce or basting on the meat that I enjoy. Here's to a cleaner, healthier and more animal-friendly new year!
