Mountain Bikers

Dearest friends walking with dogs,

Four years ago I started writing my weekly letters. They now are being send and read all over the world.
Last year a young Spanish friend called Pedro, showed me how to make a blog. That is how I started writing on my walking blog and on my natural minerals blog. I even started a Spanish blog about Martial Arts.
It rarely happens that anyone takes the initiative to write to me. You can imagine how pleased I am to see that Sue wants to participate in this blog. As far as I understand, that is what a blog is all about. It is not supposed to be a one-way street. Here come the comments of Sue regarding the consequences of the Mountain Bike Race in Campell.
For the other 141 persons on this list, I have to explain that we did not walk at all, because all over the caminos and the sendas(=tracks)there were hundreds of mountain bikers racing against the clock.
We left the cars close to the Font del Gel (In Valenciano "the spring with the cool water") and walked with our dogs on leash to our favourite Bar-Restaurant called La Bruixa (In Valenciano=witch).
Personally I very much enjoyed spending a few hours with friends in the beautiful surroundings of the Vall de Laguar valley.

Some friends did not follow me to the bar and two of them were Sue and Elaine. Here comes what Sue wrote:

hi Bruno

Well today was a disaster! Elaine said we should take our dogs for a walk anyway. This walk turned into a ramble! The path disappeared & we ended up climbing up barancos, through brambles & over trees. The dogs may have enjoyed it but i have the scars to prove i didnt! Luckily whilst stuck in the middle of a thorny bush we heard voices & 2 spanish women were having a picnic & Heidi with her usual nose for food led us up through the undergrowth to a path which lead us back to opposite where we parked, perfect............. then we got lost driving back & ended up in Orba!
