Did you read the letter written by my MKP-Brother who is dying from cancer?
Thank you Sue for bringing along the article you read about the dog poop in RTN.
I am taking the trouble to type part of it on this walking blog and it goes like this:
" In the town of Hernani, not far from San Sebastian, failure to scoop doggie poop is a risky business. The town council has introduced a bylaw that makes pet DNA registration mandatory prior to a municipal dog census aimed at keeping the streets clean as a whistle.
Teams will patrol the streets of the town and collect evidence to be sent to the Basque university (specialized in DNA testing) for analysis, linking the doggy doo to the naughty owners responsible for their dogs fouling public walkways. Owners found guilty through the matching DNA system will be fined 300 €, with fines of similar levels applicable for failing to register a pet."
My question is now: Who is going to pay me 300 € as a compensation for the fact that I picked up the plastic bag with poo on the parking lot of Font Salada?
There has been a forest fire in Benigembla, caused by a not very prudent resident. I think it is wise to go and have a look at the damage and therefore I will walk this coming Sunday 01.05.2011 in Benigembla. We will start from bar Bonaire at 10.00.
Bring your red banners and flags because that Sunday it is the First of May.
Un abrazo de Bruno
